About Guildford Stone Worktops

The work

Our four materials are quartz, granite, porcelain and marble. Jobs range from a complete kitchen to one replacement run, an island, upstands, splashbacks, sills or a bathroom vanity.

How we go about it

We measure every job in the house, because no room is perfectly square and stone cannot be trimmed on the day. Each quote itemises what you are paying for, so you can set it against others. Join positions are agreed with you before cutting, and the route in is checked before the stone arrives.

Plain advice

We would rather you ended up with the right stone than the dearest one. If marble will etch in a hard-working family kitchen, or quartz will sit in full sun all afternoon, we will tell you, and suggest something better suited.
